Support us

Supporting Drummond is an opportunity to help hundreds of people to learn, grow and be responsible for serving society.

We are grateful for support of any kind, such as:

  • Financial assistance.
  • Gifts in kind.
  • Volunteering time.

Donations

Donations to certain accounts of EDA are tax deductible.

Single or recurring donations can be made by cheque, internet banking or credit card. Forms for donations are available on this page. If you prefer to make your donation online, there are also links available for this purpose.

The Australian Taxation Office has endorsed several funds of EDA as Deductible Gift Recipients, which entitles donors to claim a tax deduction for donations of $2 or more.

Workplace giving programs

Where an employer has agreed to set up a Workplace Giving Program employees may nominate a Gift Fund of EDA as the beneficiary of their donations.

Employers will deduct the sum from the employee's salary and transfer the amount directly to EDA. The donor receives the benefit of the reduced tax withheld for their gift immediately.

Low interest and interest-free loans

EDA welcomes low interest or interest-free loans. Please contact the EDA office to discuss terms and how to formalize a loan.

Bequests

Bequests may involve a gift of a specific sum of money; a percentage of an estate; a particular asset such as property, works of art, shares or an insurance policy; or the residuary of an estate. The following simple form of bequest may be adapted by a benefactor's solicitor for inclusion in a Will:

I GIVE to Education Development Association (ABN 82 000 479 685), free of all duties the sum of (amount in words) ($ amount in figures) and I DIRECT that the receipt of an officer of Education Development Association be accepted as sufficient discharge for the same."

I GIVE to Education Development Association (ABN 82 000 479 685), free of all duties the whole/proportion of my (residuary) estate and I DIRECT that the receipt of an officer of Education Development Association be accepted as sufficient discharge for the same."

Please contact us if you need more information on any of these alternatives.
